Killer Clown Video Games

Most of us think that the killer clown only exist in horror films. Throughout the years, the killer clown has evolved from being in old stories to making it to the big screen. Nowadays, these evil clowns have made it to the gaming world. Have the game developers brought back the killer clown hype for everyone?

I had to find out for myself so I went ahead and played the old and new killer clown video games that I could find. I would like to share my gaming experience with you and provide my opinion on the best killer clown games.

Mad Clown in Super Punch Out

I had to start off with an older game. Mad clown in super punch out is a classic. This game was developed for the Super Nintendo system. One of the boxers you have to face is Mad Clown. You have to fight him as the third opponent. Mad Clown was about 390 pounds of clown from Italy. This was the largest clown that I had to beat in all the games.

Mad clown likes to cheat because he will throw a rather large amount of juggling balls during the fight. Mad clown had a signature clown hook that you will have to dodge to win the fight. The key to this one is to hit his body when it becomes vulnerable. I would not waste time trying to play this one. Its fun for the first fight or two but after that it gets boring. However if you like old school games and boxing this might be for you.

Fortnight

Fortnight is one if not the most popular games today for all age groups. This game is not based on evil clowns but it does allow the player to use clown skins in game. Skins are a way for the player to look like different types of animated characters. This is a king of the hill battle royal style game played as a first person shooter.

I had a lot of fun playing this game. First I purchased the clown skin and then I started my killer clown killing spree. Chasing people as a killer clown around different areas of the map was really enjoyable. You defiantly feel the killer clown vibe. This is a free to play game so I recommend it for everyone. The only downfall is that you have to pay for the clown skin if you want to be a creepy clown on the loose.

Insane Clown Posse Backyard Wrestling

Do we have any Juggalos out there? Insane Clown Posse Backyard Wrestling gameplay is exactly as is sounds like. You choose wrestlers and go on head to head matches. Anything goes in these matches. You can play as the insane clown posse and fight whoever you want to. The platform was for PlayStation 2 and Xbox. I played it on my old ps2 and it surprisingly still works.

The game was fun for a short while because it brought back some memories of the older style fighting games. My recommendation is to skip this one unless if you’re a real Insane clown posse fan. If you are, you will enjoy all the clips and cut scenes.

Left 4 Dead 2

Left 4 dead 2 is a shooter game that you can play with your friends. The goal is to survive the waves of whatever infected zombies come your way. This game has killer clown zombies. This was the first time that I was able to kill zombie clowns and it was awesome. The game does a great job with the zombie clown in game models.

I recommend that you play this game with your friends as it will be more enjoyable. This game is available on PC and many other platforms. You are actually able to honk the clown’s noses in game.

Twisted Medal 2012

Do you like killer clowns and being able to drive ice cream trucks? In Twisted Medal 2012 you're able to be the evil clown that gets to drive "sweet tooth" the ice cream truck. You have to be a racing game fan to enjoy this one. I had fun driving around recklessly while defeating my opponents. This is a one of a kind game. I have not seen any others where you are able to drive around and blow stuff up as a clown.

If you have the time, I recommend that you check this game out. PlayStation 3 is the game platform.
